Flash online games have taken the internet by storm in the last few years, many users of the web now choose to upload and play games quickly and easily wherever they are in the world. With old classics such as pacman, sonic and mario all being converted into flash it has meant many gamers can even play some of their oldest and favourite games very easily. As the flash files are also quite small it means waiting times for the games to download are also very short, this means users can play and browse for the exact play games they wish to play in small amounts of time.
When coding flash files there are also numerous programs out there that provide a lot of support to the user, this means the work load is cut down and makes the task simpler to perform.
The last game I coded in flash was a sonic the hedgehog remake, I had to rip the images frame by frame from the sonic game so that I had the needed sprites to perform the task, after that programming sonic was pretty simple.
